Naturopaths
Bribie Naturopaths offering both Acute care and comprehensive consultations
Acute Care
Our Bribie Naturopaths offer our community a free 10-15-minute over-the-counter consultation. Offering short-term support for infections, acute or preventive immune health, such as common colds or viruses, digestive upset, travel support or short-term nervous system and sleep support.
Consultations
While Acute care focuses on fast, effective relief while supporting your body’s natural healing, consultations with a Naturopath focus on getting to the root cause of recurring symptoms. You have your very own health detective who will guide you with diet, lifestyle and herbal support.

Acute Care Questions
Please note that our Acute Care Service is not intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing severe symptoms or require urgent medical attention, please contact emergency services or seek immediate medical care.
Yes, you sure can. When you walk into our clinic, you will be welcomed by a qualified naturopath in the dispensary. We dispense practitioner-only products, and your safety is our priority; therefore, you will be asked to complete a form with your details that is stored securely in our system. The Naturopath will then ask a series of questions to check for any interactions and ensure we select the most appropriate treatment for your needs.
Acute treatment is just that, things that pop up once or twice a year and need fast treatment, e.g., colds and flus. If your symptoms are recurring, for example, you keep getting colds or cant rid your cold, then we recommend booking a consultation with one of our Naturopaths to get to the root cause.
Yes! This is our way of giving back to the community. Your 10–15 minute consultation with a qualified Naturopath is completely free. During the appointment, you’ll receive professional advice, a personalised prescription if appropriate, and practical diet and lifestyle tips to support your recovery and healing. The only cost is for any prescribed supplements or herbal medicines.
Yes, our Acute Care Service is available to you and your whole family or anyone seeking support for short-term health concerns such as colds, flu, sore throats, digestive upsets, minor infections, and other acute conditions. The service is designed to provide quick access to professional naturopathic advice and treatment recommendations.
Consultation Questions
We sure do. You can book online. Once you have secured your preferred appointment time and paid in full, you will be sent a telehealth link.
If it’s your first time with one of our Naturopaths, then you are required to have an initial consultation. Please allow 60 minutes for this consultation, with 5-10 minutes at the end to wait while your script is filled.
If you are booking a return consultation, then allow 30 minutes with an additional 5-10 minutes to wait while the dispensary crew get your script ready.
Acute consultations will take around 10-20 minutes, depending on how busy the dispensary team is.
Yes, we strongly recommend bringing any recent blood test results or other relevant pathology reports to your consultation. In fact, our Naturopaths encourage you to provide any recent testing that may help inform your treatment plan.
For the best experience, please email your results to us or drop them into the clinic before your appointment. This allows our Acute Care team to upload them to your file and gives your practitioner time to review them beforehand. As a result, more of your consultation can be spent discussing your health concerns, treatment options, and personalised recommendations.
Yes, though it depends on how chronic or complex your case is. Your practitioner may choose to do further research or take a gentle, gradual approach to ensure the best outcome. Often, less is more, allowing the body time to adjust to changes and helping you adapt to lifestyle modifications in a way that feels sustainable and supportive.
Great question! Your practitioner will determine whether you need to renew your script and have repeats available for you. If you are unsure, reach out to the clinic for confirmation. In some cases, you may need to schedule a new review consultation. Contact the clinic at hello@thewellnessroad.com.au
Please note that we respond during Clinic hours.
We believe that many minds are better, and your health and safety are our biggest priority. We will ensure our prescriptions are checked for interactions before you receive them. This is why sometimes a script may not be prescribed at your initial consultation. Your practitioner is more than happy to communicate with your healthcare team or serve as the voice you may need.
Our rescheduling cut-off is 24 hours. While many clinics require 48 hours’ notice, we understand that unexpected events can occur.
If you let us know before the 24-hour cut-off, we’re happy to reschedule your appointment. Please note, however, that a non-refundable booking fee of $50 applies. If you notify us after the 24-hour window or don’t attend your appointment, your booking fee becomes non-transferable, and a new booking will be required.
This policy helps ensure fairness for both our clients on the waiting list and our practitioners. Thank you for understanding!
Please call your fund before making your appointment to check. Currently, we can confirm the following funds are offering Naturopathy rebates
Absolutely. The human body is incredibly complex, and chronic health conditions are rarely caused by a single factor. This is where Naturopathy truly shines.
Our qualified Naturopaths are trained to look beyond symptom management and consider the body as a whole. Using a wide range of evidence-informed tools and assessments, we aim to identify and address the underlying factors that may be contributing to your health concerns, rather than simply masking symptoms.
During your comprehensive 60-minute initial consultation, your Naturopath will take the time to understand your health history, explain how your body systems are interconnected, and identify the factors that may be influencing your condition. Together, you’ll develop a personalised treatment plan, and we’ll guide you through each stage of your healing journey so you understand not only what we’re recommending, but why.
